Steg (dos iz nit der šteg)

Why is it not surprising that there's no Orthodox presence?

Steg, it's not surprising because, for the most part, Orthodox Jews are not politically involved with environmental matters.

Still, the GZA should make an effort to reach out to those Orthodox Jews who are working on environmental questions. What kind of response would they get?

Hopefully (maybe i'm being too hopeful here) they'd get a good response. I'm sure there are enough Orthohippies out there who'd love to team up and help the Land.

Orthohippies? Steg, that's a zero hit on google. Maybe you have in mind the Eco-Activist Beit Midrash in Nachla'ot (J'lem)? Other suggestions?
